Snoozing Dogs Farm is a fully urban farm in Highlands Ranch, CO. Our crops are all grown in containers with sterilized, organic soil and natural compost. We do not grow our crops in native soil which is often contaminated with building materials in urban neighborhoods.
We are rocket scientists by day and farmers by night and weekend. We have automated systems to water and feed our plants, but each plant is monitored daily for signs of insects or disease. We pick off any insects we find and treat any diseased plants with natural remedies. We don’t use chemical insecticides.
